In many cases, the Service Delivery Processes identified as a part of the To-Be Process Model, are implemented through different platforms and tools. It is therefore imperative to understand the platforms and tools required for Service Delivery.

The objective of this task is to analyze the Statement Of Work to understand the platforms and tools requirement in the engagement.

This task is facilitated by the tools Subject Matter Expert who studies the Statement Of Work to capture the requirements from a tools perspective to aid the delivery of the agreed services.

It is vital to ensure that the requirements of both the platforms and tools as based on these requirements, a detailed list of gaps, proposal for eliminating the gaps or associated risks and a feasible solution and implementation plan is prepared.

Platform requirements should help determine network and security requirements for the Capgemini team to help access Client tools. For example, if the current tools are hosted on a cloud based solution, Capgemini must have to ensure that the connections are secure and accessible from both Capgemini internal network and VPNs.

The tool requirements must help to determine the expected measurement and reporting capabilities it should possess to aid timely and accurate reporting of Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators to the Client.

These requirements should be documented and reviewed with Capgemini stakeholders including the Service Delivery Processes Lead to seek concurrence.
